Audrina VS Lauren!

A new fashion HOT or NOT from the famous show The Hills! I think these strapless dresses look gorgeous! They are very long and elegant, yet sexy and fun for an small gathering. They are also very comfortable and light so it is great for the springtime!
Unfortunately for Lauren, Audrina looks better of in this dress (sorry Lauren!) The beautiful aqua colour and side ponytail brings out the liveliness of the dress and of Audrina’s personality of course!
This dress will also give anyone who wears it a slim figure, because it does not hug the curves too much
This dress would be great to wear on a special night out with the boyfriend, or even to a wedding! Since this dress comes in many colours; which a big advantage for many women.
So comment on which one you like better, and thanks for reading!

We’re looking for staff!
Sorry to say that updates have been lacking recently. I’ve had a lot on with college, coursework, acting, rehearsals, recording, auditioning and soon exams, as well as balancing this with spending time with family and friends. I promise that as soon as the next month or so is over, I will be returning to the blog to post more often.
In the meanwhile, I’m looking for a few people to become writers on the site, just so that our visitors are kept more up to date with the fashion industry. This can be a short or long term gig- it’s completely up to you!
Requirements:
. Be enthusistic about fashion, clothes, accessories, shoes, celebrity fashion, etc, and be able to write about it, as well as your opinions, well with good spelling and grammer.
. You must post atleast twice a week. Each blog post must be a minimum of 200 words and include atleast one picture.
These are not paid positions, but this will give any budding writers/ bloggers, etc experience within this area and the oppurtunity to build up a portfolio. I can also offer you an ‘About Me’ page, free advertising, links and exchanges, and will allow you to advertise discreetly (a couple of banner ads and links here and there. Nothing too extreme!) throughout your blog posts also.
To apply, please email me: fashionisareligion@yahoo.co.uk.

Lady ‘Goo Goo Ga Ga’ Shows Us Her Disco Stick ;)
So, there’s been a lot of rumours recently sprouting from this piss- take- of- a- blog- post:
http://starrtrash.blogspot.com/2008/12/lady-ga-ga-admits-true-sex.html
But just in case you can’t be bothered to actually head over and read it, I’ll break it down for you:
Basically, Lady Ga Ga was snapped wearing this hideous number, and as you can see, it barely covers her bits, which apparently appear to look like a small penis. I don’t know, it just looks like she has a bit of ’sagging’, hahaha, but after reading, many people actually now believe that Lady Ga Ga is a hermaphrodite (she’s not by the way)!

BUT, it’s not that I wanted to talk about really, I just wanted to make you aware of it, cause it’s actually pretty funny how gullable people are these days, LOL.
I just wanted to know what you guys think about her fashion sense. I’ve seen her wearing some amazing outfits and some fashion DISASTERS to say the least! She’s got a really unique sense of style, I’ll give her that, I love her hair also, but evidently being ‘different’ ain’t always a good thing:

The Demin Skirt is Back!
I’ve gotta say that it’s definitely an odd time of year to bring back the demin mini, considering the ‘fabulous’ British weather in my case and the rain and coldness that comes with it. They would have hit off more so in the spring and summer rather more so than now but to be honest, it’s never really ever going to go completely out of fashion: as long as you accessorize it well, it will look stylish with most looks.
My favourite is the trampy, cut off look. You can make these at home easily by shortening a longer demin skirt with some scissors to encourage the frays around the bottom. I can’t believe how many girls I’ve seen at college wearing these!
Anyway, the best look right now is to team your denim mini with: thick tights (coloured adds a bit of jazz to your outfit), and long cardigan and ugg boots (yes- the Uggs are back to dominate winter 2008!)

Feeling down? Need an alternative anti-depressant? Take a look at this post!
OK, this post is completely unnecessary and 100% for my own satisfaction (unless you find this as humorous as i do).
Feel depressed? Then drop the anti-depressant pills right now. Instead, take a look at this picture i just randomly came across of Vivienne Westwood- LMFAO:

Tie Dye- the new leopard print? Grab a dress like JoJo’s!
When I heard that the old-school “tie dye” prints were coming back this spring and summer, I was literally horrified. I remember being a kid in the 90’s strutting round in a tie dye printed t-shirt thinking I was the dogs balls, but looking back on it now I just looked like I’d forgotten to put on my overalls whilst at a paint balling session.
I mean, don’t get me wrong- when it comes to fashion I am definitely for a bit of color but the tie dye generations of yesteryear took it to the next level and the clash of the color just made me look like a box of crayons, not to mention created long term eye sight problems.
But- and this is a big but… seeing teen superstar JoJo at the Inspiration Awards recently seriously challenged my perceptions and I think that with a subtle twist of the 21st century (a little diamante detail never goes a miss) she managed to pull the style off really well. I think that she looked absolutely fabulous in this strappy tie dye dress- the rhinestone details and matching shoes really set off the look giving her outfit a classy, yet sexy edge.

I was planning on posting exactly where she got the dress from as it’s the best of its kind that i’ve seen so far but as of yet I’m unsure. So, instead, I’ve decided to show you a few other tie dye dresses that i’ve came across.
PS. If anyone by chance knows where JoJo got her dress from, please be sure to comment
